【摘要】:Testmethodsusingsuitablering-typespecimensarethepreferredmethodsofdeterminingthebasicmagneticpropertiesofamaterialcausedbytheabsenceofdemagnetizingeffectsandarewellsuitedforspecificationacceptance,serviceevaluation,andresearchanddevelopment.Providedthetestspecimenisrepresentativeofthebulkmaterialasisusuallythecaseforthinstripandwire,thistestisalsosuitablefordesignpurposes.Whenthetestspecimenisnotnecessarilyrepresentativeofthebulkmaterialsuchasaringmachinedfromalargeforgingorcasting,theresultsofthistestmethodmaynotbeanaccurateindicatorofthemagneticpropertiesofthebulkmaterial.Insuchinstances,thetestresultswhenviewedincontextofpastperformancehistorywillbeusefulforjudgingthesuitabilityofthecurrentmaterialfortheintendedapplication.1.1Thistestmethodcoversdcballistictestingforthedeterminationofbasicmagneticpropertiesofmaterialsintheformofring,toroidal,link,double-lappedEpsteincores,orotherstandardshapeswhichmaybecut,stamped,machined,orgroundfromcast,compacted,sintered,forged,orrolledmaterials.Itincludestestsfornormalinductionandhysteresistakenunderconditionsofsteepwavefrontreversalsofthedirect-currentmagneticfieldstrength.1.2ThistestmethodshallbeusedinconjunctionwithPracticeA34/A34M.1.3Thistestmethodissuitableforatestingrangefromverylowmagneticfieldstrengthupto200ormoreOe[15.9ormorekA/m].Thelowerlimitisdeterminedbyintegratorsensitivityandtheupperlimitbyheatgenerationinthemagnetizingwinding.Specialtechniquesandshortdurationtestingmayextendtheupperlimitofmagneticfieldstrength.1.4Testingunderthistestmethodisinherentlymoreaccuratethanothermethods.Whenspecifieddimensionalorshaperequirementsareobserved,themeasurementsareagoodapproximationtoabsoluteproperties.Testaccuracyavailableisprimarilylimitedbytheaccuracyofinstrumentation.Inmostcases,equivalentresultsmaybeobtainedusingTestMethodA773/A773MorthetestmethodsofIECPublication60404-4.1.5Thistestmethodpermitsachoiceoftestspecimentopermitmeasurementofpropertiesinanydesireddirectionrelativetothedirectionofcrystallographicorientationwithoutinterferencefromexternalyokesystems.1.6ThesymbolsandabbreviateddefinitionsusedinthistestmethodappearinFig.1andSections5,6,9,and10.FortheofficialdefinitionsseeTerminologyA340.Notethatthetermfluxdensityusedinthisdocumentissynonymouswiththetermmagneticinduction.1.7Warningx2014;MercuryhasbeendesignatedbyEPAandmanystateagenciesasahazardousmaterialthatcancausecentralnervoussystem,kidney,andliverdamage.Mercury,oritsvapor,maybehazardoustohealthandcorrosivetomaterials.Cautionshouldbetakenwhenhandlingmercuryandmercury-containingproducts.SeetheapplicableproductMaterialSafetyDataSheet(MSDS)fordetailsandEPAx2019;swebsite(http://www.epa.gov/mercury/faq.htm)foradditionalinformation.Usersshouldbeawarethatsellingmercuryormercury-containingproducts,orboth,inyourstatemaybeprohibitedbystatelaw.1.8Thevaluesstatedineithercustomary(cgs-emuandinch-pound)unitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinth......
