【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandarddealswithallsignificanthazards,hazardoussituationsandeventsrelevanttowalk-behindtrimmers,poweredbyacombustionengine,withcuttingmeansusingnon-metallicfilamentlineorfreelypivotingnon-metalliccutter(s),ofwhichthecuttingelementsrelyoncentrifugalforcetoachievecuttingwiththekineticenergyofasinglecuttingelementnotexceeding10J,designedforcuttinggrassorsimilarplantmaterial,whentheyareusedasintendedandunderconditionsofmisusewhicharereasonablyforeseeablebythemanufacturer(seeClause4).ThisEuropeanStandardisnotapplicableto:a)walk-behindtrimmerswithcuttingmeansotherthanthosedescribedabove;b)selfpropelledwalk-behindtrimmersorwalk-behindedgetrimmers;c)lawnmowersusingnon-metallicfilamentlineorfreelypivotingnon-metalliccuttingelementswithgreaterthan10Jkineticenergy;d)motormowersusingmetalorothersolidcuttingelements.

【摘要】:Thisfire-test-responsetestmethodmeasurestheperformanceofjointsystemsdesignedtobeusedwithfireratedfloorsandwallsduringafireendurancetestexposure.Thefireendurancetestendpointistheperiodoftimeelapsingbeforethefirstperformancecriteriaisreachedwhenthejointsystemissubjectedtooneoftwotime-temperaturefireexposures.ThefireexposureconditionsusedareeitherthosespecifiedbyTestMethodE119fortestingassembliestostandardtime-temperatureexposuresorTestMethodE1529fortestingassembliestorapid-temperaturerisefires.Thistestmethodspecifiestheheatingconditions,methodsoftest,andcriteriafortheevaluationoftheabilityofajointsystemtomaintainthefireresistancewherehourlyratedfire-separatingelementsmeet.Testresultsestablishtheperformanceofjointsystemsduringthefire-exposureperiodandshallnotbeconstruedashavingdeterminedthejointsystemssuitabilityforuseafterthatexposure.Thistestmethoddoesnotprovidequantitativeinformationaboutthejointsystemrelativetotherateofleakageofsmokeorgasesorboth.However,itrequiresthatsuchphenomenabenotedandreportedwhendescribingthegeneralbehaviorofjointsystemsduringthefireendurancetestbutisnotpartoftheconditionsofcompliance.Potentiallyimportantfactorsandfirecharacteristicsnotaddressedbythistestmethodinclude,butarenotlimitedto:Theperformanceofthefire-resistivejointsystemconstructedwithcomponentsotherthanthosetested.Thecyclicmovementcapabilitiesofjointsystemsotherthanthecyclingconditionstested.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.TheSIvaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thetextofthisstandardreferencesnotesandfootnoteswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthestandard.Thisstandardisusedtomeasureanddescribetheresponseofmaterials,products,orassembliestoheatandflameundercontrolledconditions,butdoesnotbyitselfincorporateallfactorsrequiredforfirehazardorfireriskassessmentofthematerials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.Thisstandardde0084oesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
